The City of St. John’s is hosting a virtual pumpkin carving contest in lieu of its annual pumpkin walk.
COVID-19 restrictions mean the end-of-Halloween celebration will not be taking to Bannerman Park this year.
Instead, residents are encouraged to submit photos of their pumpkin carving and finalized jack o’ lanterns to the city to be entered into the contest.
Winners will be selected by a random draw to win one of two ‘Zombie Grams’ to be performed at your home by Neighbourhood Dance Works on Halloween.
Details on the contest and where to send your photos can be found at the City of St. John’s website.
Email photos to communications@stjohns.ca.
