Pilots with PAL Aerospace are not getting the recognition they deserve during the pandemic, according to the Airline Pilots Association.
Although the union applauds the work the company has done during the pandemic as they add capacity, the president says they were duped by the company.
Tim Perry says it seems like “pandemic capitalism.” Perry says while PAL pilots made concessions, management did not.
He says it is a time when the pandemic is affecting communities and employees. ALPA believes that about 100 pilots at PAL are some of those being hugely affected.
ALPA believes that if concessions are so required, then they should also be seen on the management side of the company. Perry says they are not being seen there right now.
