A 22-year-old man was arrested in St. John’s last night after threatening to kill a police officer.
RNC responded to a home in the east end of St. John’s just before 10:30 p.m. to reports of an assault.
While on the scene investigating, the man threatened one of the officers.
He was arrested and charged with uttering threats. He will appear before a judge this morning.
Meanwhile, earlier in the night at around 9:00 p.m., police responded to a call of unknown trouble in the west end of St. John’s.
A 37-year-old man was arrested for causing a disturbance and uttering threats. He too was held for court.
