Newfoundland and Labrador currently has one active case of COVID-19.

There are no new confirmed cases being reported in the province today.

The latest case was confirmed on Friday after it was detected through screening protocols on the set of Hudson and Rex. Contact tracing is underway and close contacts are being advised to quarantine.

Those who traveled on Air Canada Flight AC690 from Toronto to St. John’s on August 6th are being asked to monitor for symptoms of COVID-19. If symptoms develop, affected individuals are asked to call 811 for follow-up.

Two hundred and sixty-three people have recovered from the virus in Newfoundland and Labrador.

To date, 26,906 people have been tested.
