Provincially owned and operated pools in Gander and Corner Brook will re-open to the public tomorrow.

Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development, Lisa Dempster says operational changes have been made to ensure safety and cleaning procedures at the pool sites.

The pools will take a restricted number of patrons at a time, and swim times must be booked in advance.

Plans to reopen the provincially owned and operated pool in Happy Valley-Goose has been delayed due to ceiling damage that occurred in July.

The damage is being assessed, with an update expected at a later date.
