A virtual rendition of a popular annual festival is now live online.
Shakespeare by the Sea is in its 28th consecutive year and to keep the momentum up, Artistic Director, Paul Rowe says they wanted to give people something to enjoy during a time of social isolation for many.
Rowe says they faced obstacles in setting up the shows, especially with delivering green screens and costumes, but they worked through it.
He says they also had to learn their way around technology.
With Rowe being the director, he had to find out how to create chemistry between actors and actresses over a medium he was not used to.
The two shows, Pericles, Prince of Tyre and Shakespeare Shorts can now be viewed on the festival’s website.
