A 37-year-old woman from Western Bay has been arrested on an outstanding warrant after being caught speeding in Small Point on the Conception Bay North Shore.
RCMP pulled the woman over around 6:30 p.m. last Friday for driving 115 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.
Police discovered that the woman, who was driving without insurance, was wanted on a warrant by the RNC. She was arrested, ticketed and turned over to the Constabulary for a court appearance.
Her licence was suspended and the car was seized and impounded.
