A man from Bishops Falls must answer for impaired driving charges after flipping his vehicle on the Trans-Canada Highway early yesterday morning.
Police were called to the scene of a single-vehicle collision at around 3:30 a.m. A car reportedly rolled over, landing upside down in a ditch just off the TCH.
According to the RCMP, he was taken to the local detachment, where his breath samples proved to be more than twice the legal limit.
The 27-year-old was released from custody yesterday with a date in court. His licence was suspended, and the vehicle was impounded.
