The Newfoundland and Labrador Teachers’ Association has reached a tentative deal with the provincial government, which would see their current agreement extended for another two years.
The NLTA says the extension would cover a two-year period, starting September 1, 2020.
Following a stressful year for their members, NLTA President Dean Ingram says they’re pleased to have reached the option to extend the current contract.
Details will be presented to its members in the coming weeks, and that will be followed by a ratification vote.
