Travel requirements for those who have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine will not be changing in this province any time soon.
That’s according to the province’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Janice Fitzgerald.
Some people in the country who have received both COVID-19 vaccine doses are wondering how their vaccination status may impact their ability to travel to Newfoundland and Labrador.
In short, Fitzgerald explains that it doesn’t.
She says the evidence is still evolving and we don’t know the vaccine’s impacts on virus transmission, and until we have more information there will be no change to the regulations.
