The City of St. John’s is hosting a virtual public meeting to hear from area residents about a rezoning application for Eric Street in the west end of the downtown.
Habitat for Humanity is planning to build three townhouses on a green space behind the Laurier Club. A portion of the current green space is used by residents as a community garden. In the winter, children use the slope to go sliding.
The city is considering rezoning the land from Open Space to Residential High Density to allow for the development.
The virtual meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 10th at 7:00 p.m.
Interested participants must register ahead of time.
