Arriving at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland onboard Air Force One, Donald Trump made his last address as President prior to the inauguration of Joe Biden.
Normally the outgoing President attends the inauguration of their successor, but Trump is eschewing the ceremony instead flying to Florida for a rally and final celebration with supporters.
To the end, Trump repeated his assertion that his presidency was among the best the United States has experienced as supporters chanted “We love you.”
He credited his administration for creating jobs and building the economy despite the pandemic, even as the death toll from the virus topped 400,000 yesterday.
Trump left his departure open-ended as he bid goodbye, he indicated that “We will be back in some form.”
