Two new confirmed cases of COVID-19 are being reported in the province today.

One case in the Eastern Health region is a close contact of a previous case, while the other is in the Labrador-Grenfell region and is related to travel in Canada.

There are 15 active cases of the virus in the province with one new recovery in the Eastern Region.

Five cases have been confirmed as a result of a cluster identified in the Eastern Health region. Contact tracing is nearing completion and the risk to the public is considered to be low.
