A 39-year-old woman has been charged with impaired driving following an incident in Mount Pearl early this morning.

RNC noticed someone driving with a flat tire in the area of Commonwealth Avenue in Mount Pearl and stopped the vehicle.

It was then determined that the 39-year-old woman has drank alcohol and she was taken to the Mount Pearl Office for the breathalyzer.

She was charged with impaired and failing the breathalyzer and was released to appear in court at a later date.

The vehicle was impounded.
