A 21-year-old motorcycle driver had his licence suspended and his bike seized and impounded for speeding more than 100 km/h over the speed limit.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says a patrol officer noticed the motorcycle driving on the Team Gushue Highway at excessive speed around 8:15 p.m. Monday evening.
Police say the machine was traveling at 187 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
