Updates on the latest COVID numbers will be provided through the weekend given the recent spike in case numbers.
The provincial government had reduced the number of regular updates to three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
“In view of the concerns of the area and the interest of the rest of the population, (we) will issue over the weekend at 2:00 written updates, like we have done on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays” to keep the public informed says Haggie.
