Seven people, including four from this province, are facing a slew of firearms and drug related charges following Project Barnacle.
On February 11, the RCMP Organized Crime Unit in St. John’s with help from the Emergency Response Team, Holyrood and Harbour Grace Detachments, RNC and Ontario RCMP, executed search warrants at five residences in Newfoundland and Labrador and Ontario.
As a result, four kilograms of cocaine, twelve pounds of ecstasy, more than $200,000 in cash, firearms including five long guns and a stolen glock handgun, 10,000 rounds of ammunition, high end jewelry, prescription pills, and ten vehicles were seized.
Jordan Langdon and Katie Tucker of St. John’s face multiple charges for drug trafficking and weapons offences, while Barry Nolan and Justin Parsons, also of St. John’s, are up on charges related to cocaine trafficking.
The four appeared in court on Wednesday and were released on conditions.
