Two women are facing a slew of charges after an armed robbery in the Metro region this morning.
Shortly before 1:00 a.m., RNC officers received a call of an armed robbery in progress at a business in CBS. They quickly arrived on the scene and located the two female suspects.
While at the station, one of the suspects, a 23-year-old woman, pulled a fire alarm and assaulted an officer.
She’s facing charges of robbery with violence, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and disguise with intent. She was also charged with assaulting an officer, false alarm of a fire, and breaches of a release and court order.
The other suspect, a 42-year-old woman, is facing charges of robbery and breach of probation.
Both women were held to appear in court this morning.
