An online fundraiser has been started to help out one of the victims of a house fire in St. John’s over the weekend.

Just after 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon, first responders were called to Georgina street in Kenmount Terrace after a fire started on the back patio. Firefighters were able to knock the blaze down within about 20 minutes.

The Red Cross was on the scene to provide assistance to those displaced by the fire.

Now a Go Fund Me has been started to help one of the roommates living in the home, who was at work at the time, replace some of what was lost.
