The RNC responded to a report of a suspicious person at a business in the city centre last night.
At approximately 7:00 p.m. officers identified a 19-year-old man, who was wanted for failure to appear in court.
The man became aggressive during the arrest, and was subsequently charged with assaulting a police officer and uttering threats.
The officer was treated for minor injuries.
The man was held to appear in court.
