What Central Health is calling a temporary human resource challenge at the Dr. Y.K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre has lead to the temporary closure of Emergency Room services at the centre.

The closure will begin 8 a.m. Wednesday June, 22 and last until 8 p.m. June 24.

New-Wes-Valley residents requiring emergency services during that time are encouraged to call 911 or process to the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre in Gander.

Central Health says they are continuing efforts in recruiting physicians and non-physician health care workers.
