An 80-year-old man reported missing after heading out on a salmon angling trip was found alive yesterday, two days after he was last seen.
Clarence Robbins left his home in Deer Lake on Tuesday, heading to a favourite spot near Cormack, but failed to return as scheduled.
That sparked an intensive search involving Deer Lake Ground Search and Rescue, RCMP and a provincial government helicopter.
The man was found yesterday and was taken to hospital to be checked out.
