A new space for police officers and staff to find peace is being unveiled at RCMP Headquarters in St. John’s today.
The Fallen Members’ Fund Memory Garden—the first of its kind in the country—is an area where RCMP employees can sit, reflect and remember their coworkers who have passed.
The garden, located at the rear of the building and facing St. John’s. includes patio stones engraved with the names of fallen employees who are either from the province, or have served here.
The event takes place at 2 p.m.
