The town of Torbay is celebrating its proud sporting history with a sports reunion Saturday.

Town councillor Ralph Tapper says the day begins with a public display of old jerseys and sport artifacts from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Community Centre.

The town is then inviting athletes past and present, to the Community Centre later this evening for a get-together and a chance to reminisce.

He says people who played for Torbay and who played against Torbay are welcome starting at 8:00 p.m.
