A driving stunt has cost a young man his truck and his licence for a while.
The 20-year-old from Cormack was caught peeling out and onto Nicholsville Road in Deer Lake shortly before 1 a.m. this morning, screeching his tires and leaving a trail of burnt rubber.
Police say an officer witnessed the reckless stunt and immediately pulled over the driver.
He was handed a ticket for stunting, his licence was suspended for a week, and the truck will remain impounded until Wednesday.
