A young person is facing drug charges after being pulled over on the Burin Peninsula.

On July 14, police pulled a car over near Marystown, where they found cannabis, cannabis derivatives, illicit mushrooms, suspected hashish, THC vape pens and pods, cash, contraband tobacco and cigars, and other evidence consistent with drug trafficking. All of the cannabis products were found to be illegal.

The teen now faces a number of drug-related charges and is set to appear in court at a later date.
