A fundraiser has been started to help repatriate the remains of a MUN student back to his home country.
Joshua Miniga recently passed away unexpectedly at the age of 20.
According to a GoFundMe page that has been set up, Miniga was a first year student in MUN’s science department, and was studying to become an engineer.
He leaves behind his parents and two younger siblings who are now faced with trying to bring Miniga’s remains back to his home country of Kenya.
A fundraiser has been set up, with a goal of $40,000, to help the family repatriate his body and help to cover funeral expenses.
