An Ontario man has been identified as the victim of a single-vehicle crash on the Northern Peninsula earlier this week.
Port Saunders RCMP were notified shortly after 4:30 a.m. Wednesday about the mishap on Route 430 near Forrester’s Point.
The truck the man was driving went off the road and landed upside down.
The victim and only person in the truck, a 64-year-old Ontario man, was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene.
His name was not released.
A crash reconstructionist and the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office are involved in the investigation.
