It’s the end of an era for the Eating Disorder Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Founder and Chair of the group’s board of directors, Vince Withers, is stepping back from the role after nearly 20 years leading the fight for access to services and supports.
Withers founded the organization in 2006 following the passing of his daughter Renata to anorexia nervosa.
Steve Bragg will replace Withers as Chair, while Withers will serve as Past Chair.
Bragg’s first duty in his new position will be to sign a proclamation on January 31 declaring February 1-7 Eating Disorders Awareness Week.
