John Hogan has officially been sworn in as Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, and he has made some sweeping changes to the provincial cabinet.
There are 16 different ministers in Hogan’s first cabinet as leader of the province.
Some of the big changes include Krista Lynn Howell as health minister, John Haggie in the justice portfolio, Lisa Dempster taking over the fisheries file, and Bernard Davis as the education minister.
John Abbott, who ran against Hogan in the leadership race, has been sworn-in as minister of seniors and minister responsible for NL Housing.
Siobhan Coady keeps her position as Deputy Premier and minister of finance.
