Two teenagers who were caught by police breaking into a school in St. John’s weren’t about to make things easy for law enforcement.
RNC officers got a call from the public at about 10:00 last night that the alarm at St. Matthews Elementary on Cowan Avenue was sounding.
As police were searching the school, two 15-year-olds on the second floor fled on foot. Officers chased them down and charged each with break and enter.
They were released to appear later before a judge.
