Air Canada flight attendants have voted in favour of a strike, potentially causing travel disruptions for thousands of passengers.
The union representing flight attendants, CUPE, has announced that 99.7 per cent of its 10,000 members supported the strike action.
The union claims that the airline is “gouging” the public while the wages for flight attendants do not keep pace with current inflation.
The union could be in a legal position to strike as early as August 16th.
