The metro region grows by thousands beginning this weekend with the Canada Summer Games and there will be an impact on traffic flow.
Parts of the downtown will be sealed off tomorrow for the opening ceremonies, and the Gushue Highway will be closed for part of Sunday and all Monday.
Councillor Sandy Hickman says it will be one of the busiest times ever for the city.
Team Gushue, George’s Pond Road and Brier Avenue will be closed from 11:30-3:30 Sunday for the cycling time trials, then the whole day on Monday.
