The Canadian Coast Guard confirms that the crew of a fishing vessel had to be rescued off Cape St. Mary’s on Monday.
The Maritime Rescue Sub-Centre was contacted about the situation, and two Coast Guard vessels, a helicopter, and a fixed wing aircraft were dispatched.
The crew ended up being rescued by another nearby ship.
