Nominations are now open for the annual Kraft Hockeyville competition, and this year a rink in Newfoundland and Labrador is guaranteed to receive some funding.
To mark the initiative’s 20th anniversary, this year one rink in each province and territory will receive $50,000 in arena upgrades.
From those, two finalists will advance. The runner-up will receive $100,000, while the winner will receive $250,000 and the opportunity to host an NHL preseason game.
Nominations are open until March 1st.
