A Mattis Point man has been arrested after allegedly stealing from a Stephenville shop yesterday.
Police say the 32-year-old man, who was known to staff, left the store on Prince Rupert Drive with several unpaid items.
RCMP arrested the man a short-time later and charged him with theft under $5,000 and failure to comply with a probation order.
