A woman is facing drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop near Sheshatshiu yesterday.
The vehicle was pulled over along North West River Road as part of an ongoing investigation.
Police say quantities of cocaine, cash, and other items consistent with drug trafficking were seized.
The driver, a 52-year-old woman, has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine, and more charges are possible.
Her next court appearance is set for June.
