The big question for many this year, is when will Newfoundlanders get a welcome respite from what feels like a never-ending winter.
It was the snowiest February on record in the metro region with a bevy of back-to-back storms.
The editor of the Farmer’s Almanac, Carol Connare, says they’re predicting a warmer, dryer spring but a cooler, wetter summer for the island.
She says the warmest periods will be in late June and late July, and they’re calling for more precipitation than normal from June through October.
