The NunatuKavut Community Council is launching a campaign to mark its 40th anniversary as a governing body.
The Then, Now, Forever campaign is designed to highlight the history of the community in the region.
The NCC says the campaign is also about strengthening awareness of what it calls its presence as a “distinct, rights-bearing Treaty people”
President Todd Russell will provide remarks at the launch scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Labrador time today at its office on Kelland Drive in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
