A 26-year-old has had his licence suspended after being caught driving at more than 70 km/h over the posted speed limit.

Holyrood RCMP clocked the vehicle at speeds as high as 174 km/h during regular highway enforcement around Soldiers Pond last Thursday afternoon.

His licence was suspended and his vehicle was seized and impounded.
