A 65-year-old man is in all kinds of trouble with the law after ramming his vehicle into another in Paradise last night.

RNC got the call around 9:55, however they ended up crossing paths with the suspect vehicle while en route to the scene.

The driver initially pulled over, but slammed on the gas once officers approached the vehicle.

Police caught up with the man at the scene where the initial call came in and arrested him after a brief struggle.

He’s facing charges of assault with a weapon, dangerous driving, flight from police, resisting arrest and breaches.

Police also discovered that he had over $18,000 in unpaid fines to his name and was not licenced to drive. The vehicle was impounded.
