It’s shaping up to be a large day across the island for those enjoying the mid-week stat holiday.
Environment Canada meteorologist Mike VandenBerg says the island is in for sunshine, warm temperatures and winds on the lighter side.
The sun will be shining right across the island with temperatures over the 20 degree mark. There may be a band of showers across central and the northeast in the afternoon but nothing significant.
