A province-wide fire ban is now in effect with continued warm temperatures and dry conditions across most of the province.
The ban means permits to burn grass, brush or other materials have been cancelled, and fireworks and sky lanterns are banned.
Wood fires are not allowed on forest land or within 300 metres of forest land, or on land that contains flammable vegetation.
Gas-powered barbecues are allowed.
Those in the outdoors on ATVs or dirt-bikes must have their vehicle fitted with a muffler and screening or baffling device to prevent sparks or carbon from escaping.
