Police have made a second arrest in connection with an armed robbery that led officers to a home in CBS earlier this week.
RCMP say two people entered a store in Mobile on Monday, pointed a firearm at staff, and fled with a quantity of cash.
Thirty-six-year-old Darryl McDonald who was previously arrested in the case, remains in custody.
Following the search of a home on the Witless Bay Line, RCMP have now arrested 28-year-old Tristan Fowler.
He faces a slew of charges including armed robbery, disguise with intent, and flight from police.
Fowler will appear in court today on charges of:
- Armed robbery
- Disguise with intent
- Using a firearm in the commission of an offence
- Dangerous operation of a conveyance
- Flight from police
- Possession of a firearm while prohibited
- Obstruction of a Peace Officer,
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
