The charges of arson in relation to several suspicious fires in the metro region are beginning to pile up on one person.
Thirty-year-old Patrick Greer, who was originally charged in connection with two blazes on July 20, now faces new counts.
On July 18, a fire broke out around a utility pole on Linegar Avenue in Shea Heights at 11:00 in the morning. A couple of hours later, another started inside a secure area of a communications tower in Shea Heights.
Each incident resulted in significant property damage.
Greer has been charged with each fire on the 18th as well as mischief over $5000, mischief under $5000, and three counts of break and enter.
He will appear in court today.
RNC say the investigation into other related fires targeting pole lines and communications towers is ongoing.
