A man is facing a slew of charges after a woman was assaulted and injured in Corner Brook yesterday.

A woman was found around mid-afternoon outside a home on Crestview Avenue with injuries which were not considered to be life-threatening. RNC located 38-year-old Neal Peddle inside the home and charged him with assault with a weapon, forcible confinement, being unlawfully in a dwelling and breach of a probation order.

He was held in custody.
