A 25-year-old man who police say put up a fight during attempts to take him into custody is facing a list of charges following a recent disturbance in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
Police were called to a home on Courte Manche just before midnight on Monday.
When RCMP arrived, the suspect was nowhere to be found. However, he was tracked down around 2:00 a.m. but instead of going quietly, police say he became combative, causing minor injuries to one officer.
The accused has been charged with resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer, assault, two counts of failing to comply with a release order and damage to property under $5,000.
