A key access point to get to and from St. John’s International Airport will be closed tonight.
The new roundabout at the intersection of Portugal Cove Road, Airport Heights Drive, and Majors Path will close overnight for repairs.
Officials say traffic will be halted from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. tomorrow.
Traffic will be detoured in all directions, with commuters heading to the airport advised to use the Torbay Road exit on the Outer Ring Road.
The city says anyone heading to or from YYT should expect further delays.
The Airport Authority is advising anyone catching an early flight to allow for extra time.
