Newfoundlanders and Labradorians are heading to the polls on Saturday, February 13.
After weeks of speculation, the Lieutenant Governer has dissolved the legislature, and the candidates have officially launched their campaigns.
Liberal Leader Andrew Furey says now is the best and safest time to hold an election which will look remarkably different from previous elections.

Furey admits while the “truth may sting,” he’s up to the challenge and is ready to redirect the province’s economic path in ways “we never thought possible.”
PC Leader Ches Crosbie launched his campaign swinging against the Liberals.
He says the Tories have a credible plan while the Liberals have a “secret plan” to cut jobs, and he promises to put Newfoundlanders and Labradorians first “always.”
