The province is reporting no new cases of COVID-19 and no new recoveries today.

As well, there are no new cases of COVID-19 aboard the Princesa Santa Joana anchored in Conception Bay. There are 31 active cases among crewmembers on that ship.

The Iver Ambition, which first anchored off the province on July 5, has departed, and the 14 confirmed cases related to the ship are no longer included in the province’s active case count.

There are currently no active cases in the province beyond the lone vessel in Conception Bay.

However, there are two people still in hospital due to the virus; a crewmember from the ship that was anchored in Bay Bulls but has since left, and a crewmember from the ship currently anchored in Conception Bay.

That leaves a total of 32 active cases in total related to those two vessels.
